This is an exciting time of year for the Advanced Placement program here at Verbum Dei High School. Our AP students have been working hard all year, putting in extra study hours and even giving up time on the weekend for practice sessions in preparation for their exams. We couldn’t be more proud of our students and teachers for taking on this challenge!
Among the many benefits of taking an AP course are college readiness skills such as improved writing, critical thinking, and time management skills, course waivers at the undergraduate level, and demonstrating a willingness to take on challenges as reflected in college applications.
On Wednesday, May 18th, the AP season will culminate with our 1st Annual Advanced Placement Luncheon where we will celebrate, congratulate, and honor our Advanced Placement teachers and students!
