Our 2019 Honorees were:
Joe Viola / Crescent Capital Group

Over $600,000 was raised for scholarships for the Fr. Michael Mandala Adopt-A-Student Scholarship Fund. It was a celebration of what success looks like when young men who have dreams and are willing to work hard avhieve them are surrounded by a community that supports and believes in those dreams.
A special thank you to one of our honoress of the evening, Mr. Joe Viola who surpassed all previous fundraising goals setting a record breaking accomplishment of raising over $200,000 for the Adopt-A-Student Program!
Thank you to all our corporate sponsors, supporters and volunteers who made the evening so memorable and who continue to support our boys.
Gala Pre Party
A Gala Pre Party is a small intimate reception where Verbum Dei supporters have the opportunity to learn about Verbum Dei and our yearly Gala Fundraiser Event. The receptions are held in the home of a Verbum Dei host family and they offer a fun and convenient way to support our students. Get to know other Verbum Dei supporters, meet students, and join in the fun for a little food and drinks.
Annual Adopt-A-Student Program Meet & Greet Event
The Annual Adopt-A-Student Program Meet & Greet Event is a small reception where many AASP “Parents” get to meet their “sons,” often for the first time, as they’ve been corresponding throughout the year through letters, note cards, and assignments.
Through AASP, more than any other program we administer on campus, we develop men for others, as “parents” are use as models for our students to immolate so that they one day graduate college, lead successful lives, and of course one day, adopt their own student.
