STUDENT SUCCESS TEAMS
Verbum Dei’s Student Success
Services Program that works with
the Freshmen College Prep
Readiness cohort as well as all
students who earn below a 2.0
for a marking period. Once a
student falls below a 2.0, a
Student Success Team will be
formed and plan of action
determined for the student and
their parent/guardian and all
relevant stakeholders (teachers,
counselors, administrators). The
SST will then collaborate and
create an individualized plan
for the student to include
classroom accommodations as well
as other services (e.g. study
sessions, tutoring, counseling,
mentoring).
