Christian Service - Immersion Trips

There will
be two Immersion Trips this
year; one in the Fall and one
over Spring Break.
Both Immersion trips
operate at minimal costs to
students and are for both
educational and service-oriented
purposes. Students wishing to
attend Immersion trips must
submit an application where they
are selected based on various
criteria, including but not
limited to: the quality of the
essays submitted, teacher
recommendations,
participation/interest/involvement
in Social Justice and Christian
Service activities and
opportunities, and general
behavior in class and at school
functions.
This is a wonderful
opportunity for students to
experience!
The Fall Immersion trip participants have already been selected and from Nov. 10-15 will be in Washington, DC for the Ignatian Family Teach-In centered on the topics of Immigration Reform and the School of the Americas. Students will also give a day of service to various service organizations in DC to witness and aid the disadvantaged on the other side of the country. Additionally, the students will tour Georgetown University as well as the White House and Capitol building.
The second
Immersion trip will be occurring
over Spring Break.
Exact dates and locations
are still TBD.
Students wishing to
attend should submit an
application once they become
available.
