Your Gift for the Young Men of Verbum Dei

Your gift to Verbum Dei High School ensures the continued quality of a holistic college preparatory education that has become well known throughout Los Angeles.  There are many ways to express your commitment to our future.

Gifts of cash are for immediate use by the School.  Your check should be made payable to Verbum Dei High School.  The School also accepts Visa, Master Card, and American Express.

Gifts of appreciated securities may be deducted at fair market value on the date of the transfer to the School.  These gifts are valued at the mean if the high and low quotations on the date of the transfer.

A gift of capital assets (cars, computers, art, etc.) can be given for Verbum Dei’s immediate benefit. 

Many businesses and corporations match personal gifts to educational institutions made by employees, retirees, and their family members.  This type of program can double your donation to Verbum Dei!  Check with your Human Resources Department to find out more about your company’s matching gift program. 

Gifts of annuities, life insurance, charitable remainder trusts, lead trusts and bequests are examples of planned giving.  By making such a gift to Verbum Dei High School you not only contribute to the School’s future, in many instances you may enjoy a tax deduction or avoid capital gains or estate taxes. 

Your memorial gift to Verbum Dei can perpetuate the values that guided a loved one’s life. The gift may honor a person during his or her lifetime or commemorate a significant event.
